Back in 2019, we learned a lot. We had some outstanding speakers and performers from across Wuhan come to grace our stage and share their passion. We loved it and we can’t thank you all enough for helping to make the event what it was.We wanted our TEDx event to inspire a new generation of critical thinkers and creative speakers, so we’ve been thinking…We need your help!Our new TEDxYouth@SanNewSchool event is for the people by the people (do you see what we did there?) and that means you, our students.We need your minds, your big ideas, and your passion.We’ll be reaching out to every international school in Wuhan to find some fantastic speakers for our event; if you’re interested already then scroll down and click on the image to get started!▼ Some pictures from our past event ▼

The theme of our event is: Level Up.2020 was a difficult year for everyone, especially Wuhan, and we want to open back up the stage for success. We want to Level Up and reach new heights and new successes. We’re ready for the challenge and we have a feeling you are too! So, start thinking about your idea worth spreading, your unique perspective and your brilliant ideas to inspire our audience.The speakers for our event must be between the ages of 12-25. Speeches can be done in Chinese or English. Click on the image above to register. Applications must be submitted by October 30th.Our event will be held in December 2021 at Wuhan San New School, so you have plenty of time to prepare. TED is a nonprofit [organization] devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). While TED exists on a global scale, TEDx is a locally organized, independently licensed event aimed to bring the spirit of TED to specific communities.In our case, TEDxYouthSanNewSchool is a youth event(as the name might suggest), designed to enrich the student population of San New School and beyond. That means you, Wuhan! In short, TEDx brings together the same global issues, with local inspiration.

Wuhan San New School, the first American private boarding school in Central China, is located at Taizi Hubei Road, Economic and technological development Zone, Hubei. It provides complete secondary education for grades 7 to 9 of junior high school and grades 10 to 12 of senior high school.
